FULL JOB DESCRIPTION
Dukes Pharmacy is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Dispenser to join its team.
In this role, you will assist in the preparation and dispensing of medications, ensuring that patients receive their prescriptions accurately and on time. The position requires strong attention to detail, excellent patient service skills, and compliance with pharmacy regulations to maintain high standards of healthcare support.
This is a relief dispenser role, and the successful candidate will be expected to cover multiple pharmacy locations in Muswell Hill (N10), Stanmore (HA7), Edgware (HA8), and Borehamwood (WD6).
Your Responsibilities include:
• Accurately dispense medications according to prescriptions while complying with legal and regulatory requirements
• Assist pharmacists in preparing medications, including compounding where required
• Prepare and manage dosette boxes for patients when necessary
• Provide patient support by answering questions about medication usage and administration
• Maintain accurate records of dispensed medications and manage stock levels effectively
• Ensure the pharmacy environment remains clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations
• Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to support effective medication management
• Use pharmacy systems including EMIS, particularly Medicine Manager, for prescription processing and record keeping
Work Schedule
Full-time position
Monday to Saturday working schedule
In-person role across multiple pharmacy locations

Compensation

Requirements
• Previous experience as a Pharmacy Dispenser or similar role (essential)
• Ability to use EMIS system, especially Medicine Manager

Work Location: In person across Muswell Hill, Stanmore, Edgware, and Borehamwood
