Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team.

He or she will be responsible for providing high-quality care to individuals in a home care settings. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to follow care plans while ensuring the comfort and well-being of our clients. Responsibilities

● Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.

● Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

● Follow individual care plans tailored to each client’s needs and preferences.

● Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in condition.

● Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.

● Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required, ensuring their safety during transport.

● Adhere to health and safety regulations while maintaining a clean and organised work environment.

Requirements

● Must be resident within the Greenwich Borough in London or its environ.

● Previous experience in home care or a similar role is desirable but not essential.

● Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

● Ability to understand and implement care plans effectively.

● Basic IT skills for record-keeping and communication purposes.

● A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting clients when necessary.

● A genuine passion for providing quality care and support to individuals in need.
