We are seeking an Accounts Payable Assistant to join our growing business. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will have overall responsibility of the end-to-end accounts payable process for the business ensuring accurate processing of all supplier invoices leading to accurate reporting and payments to suppliers.
The ideal candidate for the Accounts Payable Assistant role will have the following:
Education:
● AAT Qualified – strongly preferred.
Experience and Skills:
● 2 years+ previous experience in a bookkeeping, Accounts Payable, or a similar Finance function
● Experience with ERP systems
● General IT skills, such as Microsoft Office

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
● Highly motivated
● Detail-orientated, reliable and consistent
● Excellent organisation skills and time management
● Adaptable to changing/growing environments
As a core member of the Finance function, the AP Assistants responsibilities will include:
● Manage the end-to-end process of accounts payable from receipt of invoice to preparation of the payment files, including 3-way matching to POs and adding purchase invoices to the Finance system.
● Ownership of the accounts team email inbox
● Supplier statement reconciliations
● Support with bank and credit card reconciliations
● Credit applications
● Other ad-hoc activities where required
● £28,000-£30,000 per annum salary (dependant on experience)
● Full time position (Part time may be considered – minimum 3 days)
