Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to a disabled adult requiring assistance with daily living activities. This role involves fostering a safe and nurturing environment while promoting independence and well-being.

Duties

• Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ quality of life.
• Facilitate engaging activities tailored to the interests and abilities of clients.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of clients by adhering to health and safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in clients’ conditions.
• Assist with mobility and transportation needs, including driving clients to appointments or activities when required.

Requirements

• Previous experience in childcare, senior care, home care, or assisted living is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of first aid practices is an advantage.
• A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
• Ability to manage challenging behaviours with patience and understanding.
• A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting clients as needed.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends if required.
