FULL JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide support to patients in various healthcare settings, ensuring their well-being and comfort.
DUTIES:
 Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating
 Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
 Implement care plans under the supervision of medical staff
 Drive patients to appointments or outings when necessary
 Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
 Provide emotional support to patients and their families
SKILLS:
Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare professionals
Ability to follow care plans accurately
Valid driver’s license for transporting patients
Experience in a care home or home care setting is advantageous
Proficiency in English language
Basic IT skills for documentation purposes
SCHEDULE:
- Day shift
- Every weekend
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
- Weekends only
EXPERIENCE:
- Care home: 1 year (preferred)
- Home care: 1 year (preferred)
