We are looking for compassionate Personal Care Assistants to join a dedicated support team for a wonderful 39-year-old gentleman living in Alton. This is a fantastic opportunity to build a meaningful long-term relationship with one client while working within a friendly and supportive team.

Unlike agency work, this role offers consistent contracted hours, stability, ongoing training, and the opportunity to make a lasting difference every day.

Our client is a fun-loving, cheerful individual with a great sense of humour who enjoys being around positive and engaging people.

While he is non-verbal and has limited fine motor skills, he has a vibrant personality and loves getting out and about, spending time with others, and enjoying the things that matter to him.

His interests include:

Music and concerts
Bus rides and exploring transport routes
Cars and vehicles
Sightseeing and community outings
Watching cooking activities
Attending his day centre twice a week

We’re looking for support workers who can help him enjoy life to the fullest, encourage independence, and bring energy and positivity to every day.

About the Role

You will provide person-centred support that enables our client to live safely, comfortably, and independently at home and within the community.

Responsibilities include:

• Personal care and daily living support
• Supporting social and community activities
• Medication administration
• PEG feeding support (training provided)
• Oral suctioning (training provided)
• Moving and handling support
• Meal preparation
• Light household tasks
• Building positive relationships and meaningful engagement

Experience in PEG feeding, medication administration, oral suctioning, or complex care is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Essential Requirements

✔ Full UK Driving Licence

✔ Own vehicle

✔ Right to work in the UK

Shift Pattern

36 Hours Per Week

Day Shifts

08:30am to 4:00pm

Saturday Day Shift

08:30am to 4:30pm

Night Shifts

4:30pm to 8:30am

Weekday and weekend availability required.

Additional hours may also be available.
