Salary: £12.71 – £18.50 an hour

Job Overview
Support people to live safely and comfortably, either in a care home or through home care visits. You’ll provide considerate, person-centred assistance and communicate with colleagues to help ensure each person receives support suited to their needs.
Duties
● Assist with daily routines while respecting each person’s dignity, preferences and independence.
● Follow care plans and report changes in wellbeing to the appropriate colleagues.
● Communicate clearly with the people you support, their families and the care team.
● Keep accurate records using relevant IT systems.
● Your impact: By following care plans and sharing concerns promptly, you help people receive consistent support and enable colleagues to respond to changing needs.
Qualifications
● Good communication skills and a caring, respectful approach.
● Sufficient English to communicate with people and record information clearly.
● Confidence using basic IT for care records is useful.
● Driving ability may be needed for home care visits; experience in a care home or home care setting is welcome.
