Salary: £12.71 – £12.82 an hour

Small 15 bedded care he all ground floor
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Workers to provide high-quality support to individuals in various care settings, including assisted living, nursing homes, and home care environments. The ideal candidate will possess a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for clients through attentive and respectful care. This paid position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives while developing your skills within the healthcare sector.

Duties

● Assist with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility support

● Provide patient care tailored to individual needs, including medication administration and health monitoring

● Support clients with meal preparation and nutritional needs

● Manage behaviour and provide emotional support, particularly for those with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease

● Assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment

● Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental well-being

● Follow health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures when necessary

● Document care provided accurately and report any concerns to senior staff

Qualifications

● Experience in assisted living, nursing home care, or home care is advantageous

● Knowledge of dementia, Alzheimer’s, and care

● Relevant skills in caregiving,

● willingness to undertake training if not already qualified mandatory paid training supported

● Strong communication skills with a caring and empathetic approach

● Ability to work as part of a committed small team providing support to residents person centred approach to care is a must

To be flexible cover list predom nights 3-4 nights
