Duties

  • Assist residents or clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to ensure their comfort and dignity
  • Support the implementation of personalized care plans tailored to each individual’s needs and preferences
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to foster a positive environment for residents or clients
  • Help with meal preparation, feeding, and ensuring proper nutrition and hydration
  • Maintain accurate documentation of care provided using IT systems and update care plans regularly
  • Communicate effectively with team members, family members, and healthcare professionals to coordinate care delivery
  • Drive or accompany clients on appointments or outings when required, ensuring safe transportation and adherence to schedules

Requirements

  • Valid driving license and ability to drive safely for home care visits or outings
  • Experience working in a care home or providing home care services is highly desirable
  • Good understanding of creating and following care plans tailored to individual needs
  • Proficiency in using IT systems for documentation and communication purposes
  • Strong communication skills in English to interact clearly with clients, families, and team members
  • Ability to work independently in home settings or as part of a team
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a caring attitude and active listening abilities
