We are seeking a skilled and reliable Property Carpenter to join our growing maintenance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tradesperson who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and enjoys working across a varied property portfolio.

Role Overview

The Property Carpenter will be responsible for carrying out carpentry, joinery, repairs, and general property maintenance works across properties owned and managed by the company. The successful candidate will ensure that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Construct, install, maintain, and repair wooden structures, fixtures, and fittings.
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble timber and other materials using hand and power tools.
• Fit and repair doors, frames, skirting boards, flooring, kitchens, cupboards, and other joinery items.
• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across residential and commercial properties.
• Conduct property inspections and identify maintenance requirements.
• Undertake minor roofing, masonry, and general building repairs where required.
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company procedures.
• Operate tools, machinery, and equipment safely and effectively.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
• Work independently and collaboratively with other maintenance team members and contractors.
• Respond to maintenance requests in a professional and timely manner.
• Ensure properties are maintained to a safe, compliant, and high-quality standard.

Essential Requirements

• Proven experience as a Carpenter, Joiner, Property Maintenance Operative, or in a similar role.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
• Proficiency in the use of hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
• Strong practical skills and attention to detail.
• Good problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude.
• Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
• Full UK driving licence (preferred).
• Commitment to health and safety standards.

Graysons Properties Ltd is able to consider sponsorship for eligible candidates under the Skilled Worker route.

• Meet all applicable UK immigration requirements.
• Hold a B2 English Language Proficiency Certificate
