FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

Provide vital personal care and support to elderly residents, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and safety. This role is centered on helping residents with daily living activities while offering emotional support and companionship, making a significant impact on their overall well-being.

• Assist residents with daily personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting.
• Support residents with mobility and physical activities, including help with walking, exercises, and transfers.
• Monitor residents’ health and report any concerns to the senior staff or medical team.
• Provide companionship, engage in conversations, and help maintain residents’ social and emotional well-being.
• Assist with medication administration (under supervision) and ensure residents receive the correct doses at the appropriate times.
• Maintain residents’ rooms and personal spaces, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and comfort.

Person Specification

• Previous experience in healthcare is desirable, but training can be provided.
• Compassionate, kind, and patient, with a genuine interest in helping others.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with residents and other staff.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physically fit and able to assist residents with mobility and activities.
