FULL JOB DESCRIPTION
Overview
We are looking for experienced Support Workers for our 18+ Supported Accommodations. Only apply for this role if you have previous sector knowledge and have worked in this sector. (Full in-house training will be given to our systems). You would have to work for the needs of the business and extra hours will be provided.
Duties (Training will be provided to the experienced Support Worker)
– Writing weekly Support Notes
– Support is provided to residents weekly (NO PHYSICAL / PERSONAL CARE).
– It includes supporting residents with: Independence and life skills, Contacting Benefits’ teams, Telephone calls, Liaising with Organisations and multi agencies
Qualifications
- Experience within the care sector surrounding 18+ Supported Accommodations. However, we will also support successful applicants with enrolling onto and completing relevant courses.
- ENGLISH LANGUAGE GCSE AT MINIMUM GRADE 4/C
Key skills & Attributes
- Interacting with residents in a caring and compassionate manner.
- Be able to work in a team environment.
- Demonstrate knowledge of first aid and standard emergency procedures.
- Demonstrate knowledge of building safety features and maintenance procedures.
- Work in a fast-paced environment
