Domiciliary Care & Floating Support Worker

About the Role
As a member of our team, you will support individuals in maintaining their independence, dignity, and quality of life in their own homes and local communities.
Domiciliary Care Duties
● Personal care and support
● Medication assistance
● Meal preparation and nutrition support
● Companionship and emotional support
● Assisting with mobility and daily living activities
● Promoting independence and wellbeing
● Supporting service users to access community activities where appropriate
Floating Support Duties
● Supporting individuals with tenancy sustainment
● Assisting with budgeting and financial management
● Helping access benefits, healthcare, education, and employment opportunities
● Providing emotional and practical support
● Encouraging independence and life skills development
● Working closely with local agencies and professionals
● Supporting individuals with complex needs to achieve positive outcomes

Requirements
● Caring and compassionate nature
● Good communication and interpersonal skills
● Reliable and flexible approach to work
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team
● Right to work in the UK
● Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred (particularly for domiciliary care roles)
● Previous care or support experience desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided
