Summary

Are you an enthusiastic, highly motivated and extremely well organised person? If so, this is a fantastic opportunity to become a key member of the IT Support Team at Ribblesdale School, working in the heart of the Ribble Valley in Lancashire.

The successful candidate will be a proactive and positive person, who is approachable with a calm professional manner and able to communicate well with pupils, staff and parents.

If successful, you will be responsible for the day-to-day organisation of a busy IT support helpdesk and the logistics of a large One-to-One Device Scheme. You will be required to work with and compliment the current IT Support Team by undertaking a range of duties including helpdesk job allocation and pupil device management.

You must have the ability to be able to work effectively as part of a team and have excellent administration, strong IT skills and experience of Microsoft Office 365.

Key Responsibilities:

● Manage day to day issues with the device scheme, including managing devices and users in Intune and Entra

● Monitor the IT Support helpdesk and provide technical support for staff and pupils where appropriate

● Organise and track the repair process of pupil devices of the one-to-one scheme

● Support the setup and maintenance of classroom technology

● Ensure software and systems are updated and secure

● Liaise with external IT support providers when necessary.

We are looking for someone who:

● Has excellent communication and organisational skills

● Is confident working with Windows 11 and Microsoft 365

● Has knowledge managing devices and software in Intune

● Can work independently and respond quickly to routine issues

● Has experience in IT support or a similar logistical/administrative role

● Is committed to supporting a safe and effective learning environment

Essential Qualifications

● Good standards for literacy and numeracy GCSE Grade C in Maths and English or equivalent (Level 2)

● Relevant IT Level 3 qualification (e.g. CompTia A+ / NVQ) or higher

Desirable Qualifications

Current IT vendor certification or ability to demonstrate equivalent experience
