FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

Peer Support Worker

We are recruiting a Peer Support Worker to join our Lived Experience Community team.

The team brings together members with direct personal lived experience of sexual, domestic and/or relational trauma who are at a place in their own recovery where they can use their expertise through experience to work as Lived Experience Facilitators supporting others.

we are currently recruiting a Level 1 LEF to join our team.

Location

You will be based at our head office in Welwyn Garden City and will co-facilitate groups both online (working from home), in person at our head office and in person in the community at various locations around Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire.

You must have the means to travel to various locations as required.

Hours

Current funding provides 20 hours a week for this role (this may increase depending on further funding).

Current expected working hours are:

Monday: non working day

Tuesday: 9.30am-2pm

Wednesday: 9am-2.45pm

Thursday: 4pm-8pm

Friday: 9am-2.45pm

Salary

£14 per hour

£14,560 for 20 hours per week

(Full time equivilent is £27,500)
