About us
Select Care Services Ltd is an established Domiciliary Care Service in Leicester, LE5 4LE. Due to expansion, we are looking for a bubbly FEMALE, SENIOR CARE ASSISTANT person to join our team.
We have 2 sponsorship positions available for the right applicant, Please note that you must be a DRIVER, currently live in Leicester post code areas LE1, LE2, LE4 and LE5 only, please do not apply if you are unable to match this requirement.
Previous experience in a Senior position is essential, preferably in Domiciliary Care, Home to Home care would be advantageous.

Job Title: SENIOR CARER
*PLEASE NOTE THIS POSITION IS OPEN TO APPLICANTS WHO HAVE A FULL UK DRIVING LICENCE & ACCESS TO A CAR ONLY* this position is not suitable for a walker/biker, due to the nature of the role, the applicant must have or be willing to business insurance to cover home to home travel, if successful due to the variety of tasks this role includes
This position is a full time, permanent position and is not suitable for part-time working or during vacation periods.
Duties:
– To complete all senior carer related duties to support and provide the delivery of care, such as completion of care calls, spot checks, staff supervisions, clients visits, client reviews, risk assessments, medication competencies, setting up of new packages of care, etc
– To complete a variety of office duties to support the Management Team and to follow up all concerns and reporting to the appropriate channels
– Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Qualifications:
– Previous experience in a domiciliary care setting is essential
– Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably in a similar industry is essential
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills both verbal and written in English is essential
– Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
– Ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve goals
– Knowledge of relevant software applications and tools to include rostering software and care planning
– Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work well under pressure and multitask
– Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
-Must have excellent attention to detail, experience in using Microsoft office, excellent emailing and accurate writing skills are a must
