FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

Are you looking for a role where you actually change someone’s life? We’re on the lookout for a caring, positive Female Support Worker to support an amazing woman living with an acquired brain injury.

Female applicants only – this role is exempt under the Equality Act 2010 due to the nature of support required.

What you’ll be doing

This isn’t your typical 9–5. You’ll be helping someone build independence, confidence, and enjoy life to the fullest:

• Supporting rehab goals and personal development
• Helping with day-to-day tasks and meaningful activities
• Getting out into the community (think social trips, activities, and more)
• Encouraging independence while supporting personal care when needed
• Working alongside family and healthcare professionals to keep everything running smoothly

Hours (with flexibility)

Current support times include:

• Tuesday: 16:00 – 21:30
• Thursday: 19:15 – 21:00
• Friday: 14:30 – 16:30
• Weekend: 10:00 – 16:00

As independence grows, these hours may evolve too.

What you’ll need

• Full UK driving licence (essential – you’ll be out and about!)
• Business Insurance (essential)
• A positive, can-do attitude
• A genuine interest in helping others thrive

No extensive experience? No problem—you’ll get ongoing training from a full multi-disciplinary team, so you’ll keep learning and building skills.

The formal bits

• Training must be completed before starting

All candidates would be required to undertake a DBS, reference and right to work checks as well as ensuring all mandatory training completed.
