IMMEDIATE START

7.5 Tonne Driver/Labourer

Location: Reporting to JEDEN LTD Yard, 84 Fifty Pitches Road, Glasgow G51 4EB

Overview

JEDEN Ltd is seeking a reliable and experienced 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of flooring materials to trade customer across Glasgow and surrounding areas, including warehouse, construction sites and commercial premises.

In Addition to driving duties, the role involves providing labour support to operational teams when required. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who takes pride in delivering high standards of customer service while maintaining a strong commitment to health and safety.

Responsibilities

* Safely operate a 7.5 tonne vehicle for transportation and delivery of materials and equipment.

* Assist operational teams with manual labour tasks as required.

* Carry out daily vehicle inspections before and after each shift, ensuring roadworthiness and compliance.

* Load and unload materials safely and efficiently.

* Complete and maintain all required delivery and vehicle documentation accurately.

* Adhere to all road traffic regulations, health and safety requirements, and company procedures.

* Report vehicle defects, maintenance requirements, incidents with clients and site personnel.

Essential Requirements

* Valid UK driving Licence with appropriate entitlement to drive 7.5 ton vehicles.

* Driver CPC qualification.

* Valid Digital Card

* Minimum of 1 year experience driving 7.5 tonne vehicles or larger.

* Good understanding of road safety regulations and driving best practices.

* Strong communication and organisational skills.

* Physically fit and capable of carrying out manual handling, loading and labour duties.
