£22 per hour | 3-Month Contract | Relocation Opportunity – Guernsey

We are currently seeking an experienced Level 3 Support Worker to join a dedicated and supportive care team in a welcoming Group Home in beautiful Guernsey. About the role:

You will play a key role in providing high-quality, person-centred care within a safe, nurturing, and structured environment. Supporting young people with their daily routines, emotional wellbeing, and personal development, you’ll help them build confidence, independence, and a brighter future.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide specialised personal care and day-to-day support in a residential group home setting
• Support daily routines including education, appointments, activities, and wellbeing
• Assist with domestic tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and maintaining a safe home environment
• Promote independence, dignity, and respect while encouraging positive behaviours
• Confidently manage and respond to challenging behaviours using PMVA and de-escalation techniques
• Work collaboratively with families and multidisciplinary teams to implement care and development plans
• Maintain accurate documentation in line with care standards and policies
• Act as a positive role model, creating a stable, supportive, and encouraging environment

Requirements:

• Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care
• Valid UK driver’s licence
• Clean DBS registered on the update service
• PMVA training and strong de-escalation skills
• Excellent communication, resilience, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to thrive in a challenging yet highly rewarding environment
