Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst Intern to join our finance team. This paid internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in financial analysis, planning, and reporting within a dynamic organisation. The successful candidate will support various financial projects, analyse data, and contribute to strategic decision-making processes. Strong organisational skills, analytical ability, and proficiency in relevant software are essential for this role.

Duties

• Assist in preparing financial reports and analysing financial data using Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
• Support the development of financial models and forecasts aligned with organisational objectives.
• Utilise SQL to extract and manipulate data from databases for analysis purposes.
• Contribute to financial planning activities by gathering and analysing relevant information.
• Assist in creating presentations and reports using Microsoft PowerPoint for internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial documentation.
• Maintain organised records of financial data, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Support ad hoc analysis tasks as required by the finance team.

Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and organisational tools.
• Experience with SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Familiarity with Power BI for data visualisation and reporting.
• Knowledge of financial planning principles and analysis techniques.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and IT systems relevant to finance functions.
