Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Payroll Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing payroll and CIS processes accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. This role offers an excellent opportunity to use your expertise in payroll systems within a dynamic organisation. The ideal applicant will possess excellent client management skills, alongside strong analytical skills and experience with various accounting and payroll software platforms, contributing to the smooth operation of our payroll functions.

Responsibilities

  • Process employee payroll using systems such as BrightPay, Xero, Quickbooks, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
  • Manage data entry related to employee hours, deductions, and benefits, maintaining data integrity across all systems.
  • Managing Pension contributions and uploading to various pension schemes. ensuring payments are made on time.
  • Submitting Journals to various accounting packages. Ensuring information is correctly posted
  • Resolving issues efficiently through detailed analysis.
  • Maintain compliance with statutory regulations and internal policies concerning employee remuneration.
  • Support human resources activities by providing payroll-related information for audits and reporting purposes.
  • Assist with ad hoc payroll queries from employers, employees, management, delivering prompt and professional responses.

Experience

  • Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator or in a similar role within an organisation using accounting software such as BrightPay, QuickBooks or Xero.
  • Strong proficiency in data entry, with excellent attention to detail to minimise errors in payroll processing.
  • Familiarity with accounts payable procedures and basic accounting principles.
  • Demonstrated analysis skills to identify issues and implement effective solutions swiftly.
  • Knowledge of human resources practices related to payroll administration is highly desirable.
  • Experience working with multiple payroll systems and integration of various software tools is advantageous.
