Your Responsibilities include:
• You will be supporting a young boy in his own home, helping to create a safe, fun and engaging environment.
• He enjoys listening to music and watching his favouriteshows like Bluey and Cocomelon on his iPad. He also loves sensory play and spending time with toys.
• Story time is another favourite, so someone who is patient, caring and happy to get involved in activities will be a great fit.
• Care staff will be responsible for supporting his respiratory needs, including administering nebuliser treatments and performing suctioning.
• They will also provide support with seizure management, medication administration, and enteral feeding.
• On weekdays you will support him attending school with and providing assistance throughout the day.
Work schedule
Shifts. Part time Days | Thursday 8am to 4pm | Alternate Saturday’s 8am to 4pm
Requirement
• 3 months’ care experience
• Confident with medication, personal care, moving and handling
• Clear communication skills
