We are looking for care assistants that can partisipate in sleeping nights and day time calls, as well as every other weekend. At HartewellHomecare, we provide high-quality, person-centred care that supports individuals to live independently in the comfort of their own homes.
Your Responsibilities include:
• Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
• Support clients in maintaining their independence and dignity while ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Implement and follow individual care plans tailored to each client’s needs.
• Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes to the care manager.
• Foster positive relationships with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals through effective communication.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance skills in IT and care practices relevant to the role.
• Ensure that the care environment is clean, safe, and welcoming for all clients.
Work schedule
Full time role
You will have
• Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is advantageous but not essential as training will be provided.
• Familiarity with care plans and the ability to follow them accurately is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills in English are essential for interacting with clients and colleagues effectively.
• A valid driving licence and access to vehicle
• Basic IT skills are beneficial for maintaining records and accessing client information.

• Previous care experience is helpful but not required – full training provided
• Availability to undertake work on some evenings and weekends.
• Availability to undertake sleeping nights of 2 per week. (Enhanced rate of pay)
