FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

A Homecare Service Provider is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in delivering high-quality care, supporting clients with their daily needs, and promoting their comfort, dignity, and overall wellbeing.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about healthcare and committed to making a meaningful difference in people’s lives. The role involves working across care homes and within clients’ own homes, providing personalised care in line with individual care plans.

Your Responsibilities include:

• Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming

• Support clients with mobility and safe transfers

• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when required

• Monitor and record vital signs and general health conditions

• Support medication management in accordance with care plans

• Provide companionship and emotional support

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records using IT systems

• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals

• Travel to various care settings or clients’ homes to deliver care services

Work Schedule

Full-time with flexible shift patterns.

You Will Have

• Compassionate nature with ability to work independently and in teams.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is desirable, but not essential (full training provided)

• A valid driving licence is advantageous for roles involving travel

• Good written and spoken English for clear communication

• Basic IT skills for accurate documentation

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• A compassionate and caring nature with a genuine desire to help others

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Flexibility to work different shifts and travel between locations if required
