We are looking for a HR Administration Apprentice to join our existing HR Central Department in Nottinghamshire (NG15 0DR). Reporting to the HR Administration Manager, you will provide accurate and timely admin support to ensure the Central HR Department provides an effective service to the staff and management of Yusen Logistics UK. Your Level 3 Business Administration apprenticeship will be delivered by West Notts College, typically 15-18 months in length, you will attend a masterclass oncer per month in person at college; at current it’s 9 over the 15 months learning period.
Your Responsibilities include:
• Preparation of a variety of documents relating to all aspects of HR and Recruitment.
• Ensure recruitment documentation is received and logged – right to work checks following UKVI guidelines, references, Post Offer Health Assessments, DBS etc and KPIs are maintained.
• Create and maintain electronic personal file chasing missing employee file information to ensure that HR files are complete in line with audit requirements.
• Input of new joiners onto the HR system.
• Input of new joiners onto the Credence / Clarity dashboards.
• Mailbox management; responding to administration requests in a timely manner, ensuring timescales meet procedural expectations.
• Escalating any requests for support to HR Business Support or the wider HR team.
• Ensure that we are fully compliant with GDPR guidelines when sharing details both internally and externally and retaining and storage of personal information.
• Accurate and timely filing of HR documents, file maintenance and document scanning.
Completion of any other ad hoc duties as required.
Work Schedule
The role will offer a salary of £17,425, working Monday – Friday 9am -5pm (37.5 hours). You will be required to attend the office 1 day per week, (Mondays) with the flexibility to go in on additional days.

• Good Microsoft office skills including outlook, word and excel
• Excellent communication skills
• The ability to always maintain confidentiality and discretion
• Flexible and adaptable to meet the challenges of the business
• Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy are essential
• A highly motivated individual with a can do approach to work.
• Ability to prioritise, organise, multi and task work in a fast-moving environment.
