FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an enthusiastic and approachable individual to join our ICT Support team on a fixedterm basis. The primary focus of this Band 5 role is to lead and coordinate the NHS Forth Valley devicerefresh programme, ensuring timely replacement, deployment, and lifecycle management of enduser devices across the organisation.

In addition to devicerefresh responsibilities, the postholder will also provide wider technical support to both the Desktop Support team and the GP Support team, contributing to the smooth delivery of ICT services across acute, community, and primarycare settings.

You must have experience supporting current Windows desktop environments, delivering technical support within largescale ICT environments, and working to high standards of customer service with strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.

Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to work independently or as part of a dynamic team. The role also requires effective communication with thirdparty contractors and internal stakeholders.

A HNC/HND or equivalent in a computingrelated discipline is required.

Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential for this post.

The duties of this post require the successful candidate to complete a Level 2 Disclosure Scotland check.

Your Responsibilities include:

• Leading device-refresh programme managing timely replacement/deployment across NHS organisation.

• Providing technical support to Desktop Support plus GP Support teams resolving complex issues.

Work Schedule

Full-time 36 hours weekly 

You Will Have

• HNC/HND computing qualification plus proven Windows desktop support experience essential.

• Excellent customer service delivering technical solutions within busy healthcare ICT environment.

• Strong organisational/interpersonal skills working independently or within dynamic teams confidently.

Requirements

• Level 2 Disclosure Scotland check plus UK travel capability across service delivery area required.
