FULL JOB DESCRIPTION
Canaan Care Ltd seeks compassionate Support Workers to provide personalised assistance helping individuals achieve personal goals and improve quality of life. This role promotes independence and dignity through daily living support, mobility assistance and community engagement.
Your Responsibilities include:
• Providing personalised support with daily activities including personal care, meal preparation and household tasks.
• Assisting clients with mobility, transportation needs and ensuring safety during outings.
• Facilitating social interactions and community engagement through activity participation.
• Maintaining accurate client progress records and reporting behavioural or condition changes.
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals, families and support staff on tailored care plans.
Work Schedule
Flexible part-time and full-time hours available, in-person role.
You Will Have
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client and team interactions.
• Empathy, patience and strong organisational abilities managing diverse client needs.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with flexibility and attention to detail.
Requirements
• 1 year support worker experience preferred but willingness to learn essential.
• Basic understanding of health and safety regulations advantageous.
