NHS Tayside seeks committed Healthcare Support Workers for Ward 33, a 21-bed unit providing patient-centred care for elderly patients on a 48-72 hour journey. Working within multidisciplinary teams under Assistant Practitioners or Registered Nurses, you will deliver high-quality care while developing your healthcare career in a supportive environment that values equality, diversity and professional growth.

Your Responsibilities include:

• Delivering direct patient care, assisting with personal needs and supporting recovery under Registered Nurse supervision.

• Communicating effectively with patients, families and multidisciplinary teams both verbally and in writing.

• Working to national Mandatory Induction Standards and Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers.

• Contributing to high standards of care in a busy acute medicine environment for elderly patients.

Work Schedule

Rotational shifts including days, nights, weekends across 7 days, with physically/emotionally demanding duties typical of acute hospital work.
