FULL JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities:
o Focusing on creating an engaging, functional user experience (UX)
o Create wireframes/prototypes, and typography, and often use HTML/CSS.
o Using design software like Figma, Adobe XD and basic coding languages like HTML, CSS, JavaScript to build web pages.
o professional skills to best thrive in a services environment as quickly as possible.
o Testing functionality and responsiveness across different devices (mobile, tablet, desktop) and improving site performance..
o Enhancing, and optimizing applications.
o Design complex solutions and communicate your ideas prior to implementation.
o Create documentation to share your knowledge as appropriate.
o Amend previously delivered solutions as new functional and maintenance requirements emerge.
o proactively manage timeline, issues, and client to ensure on time delivery of quality deliverables.
Skills
- good communication skills – both written and verbal. You can also work with clients and users directly in an effective manner.
- general knowledge of JavaScript technologies
- experience working with digital graphics, cloud, Crello
- a passion for producing quality designs that not only meet the desired delivery outcomes but are also built in a solid manner that is scalable and maintainable.
- the ability to work on tasks independently.
- the understanding of how to prioritise core work against time-critical tasks.
- initiative to find answers to new questions.
Web Designer with 5+ years of experience
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Bristol BS32 4QW: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Education:
- Bachelor’s (preferred)
