Company Overview

Marketing Assistant Intern (Graphic Design)

Uzumaki London | Graduate Development Programme | Creative & Commercial Marketing

At Uzumaki London, we bring anime food and drinks to life.

We are a founder-led hospitality brand where marketing is directly connected to product, operations and real customer experience. Every campaign must translate into measurable business growth. Every visual must serve a purpose. Every idea must respect the community we exist to serve.

We are opening a structured Marketing Assistant Internship (Graphic Design focus) for a graduate or early-career creative who wants real exposure, real responsibility and real development.

This is not a shadowing internship.

This is a build-and-learn internship.

The Structure:

You will report day-to-day to the Marketing Manager and support them in executing campaigns, content and design output across digital and physical channels.

Alongside this, you will be enrolled in the Uzumaki Graduate Development Programme, receiving structured quarterly mentorship from the founders focused on commercial thinking, brand philosophy and leadership mindset.

The Marketing Manager leads your execution and performance.

The founders support your long-term growth and entrepreneurial awareness.

You will learn how marketing works in the real world — not just how it looks on a screen.

What You Will Do:

• Support campaign execution under the direction of the Marketing Manager

• Design digital and in-store marketing materials (graphic design capability is essential)

• Assist with social content creation, editing and asset preparation

• Contribute creative ideas for community engagement and brand storytelling

• Support photoshoots, product launches and experiential activations

• Assist with performance tracking and campaign reporting

• Spend time in-store observing customer behaviour and experience

• Use AI tools to improve workflow efficiency and creative productivity

You will gradually be given ownership of defined micro-projects — from concept to execution — contributing work you can confidently include in your professional portfolio.

Who This Is For:

This role is ideal for:

• Recent graduates in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications or related fields

• Individuals with strong design fundamentals and portfolio work

• Energetic, proactive personalities who enjoy working in fast-moving environments

• People eager to understand how marketing connects to sales, margin and operations

• Individuals who want mentorship and accelerated growth

Experience is welcome but not required. What matters most is:

• Willingness to learn

• Curiosity

• Accountability

• Energy

• Resilience

You are comfortable stepping away from the screen to understand customers in real life. You are excited to build skills, not just collect tasks.

What You Will Learn:

• How marketing strategy translates into measurable business performance

• How design impacts customer perception and conversion

• How to interpret data and support reporting

• How hospitality operations influence marketing decisions

• How AI can support productivity without replacing judgement

• How leadership and ownership mindset shape professional growth

This internship is designed as a genuine career launchpad. Strong performance may lead to longer-term opportunities within the marketing function.

What Success Looks Like:

By the end of your internship, you will have:

• Contributed to campaigns that drove measurable results

• Strengthened your design execution and brand consistency

• Developed commercial awareness beyond typical graduate roles

• Built portfolio projects with real business impact

• Grown in confidence, responsibility and professional maturity

If you are ready to learn fast, contribute meaningfully and grow within a founder-led hospitality brand that values discipline, creativity and ownership — we would love to hear from you.

Please apply with:

1. A short note on why you want to build your marketing career in hospitality.

2. Your portfolio (required — academic, freelance or personal projects welcome).

3. One idea you would propose to elevate a founder-led restaurant brand.

Energy. Craftsmanship. Commitment to growth.

Benefits:

  • Company pension
  • Discounted or free food
  • Employee discount
  • Flexitime
