 FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

Lee Godbold Ltd (LGL) is looking to recruit a full-time warehouse assistant to join their small friendly team based in Fareham. This is a permanent position.

We provide distribution of consumer electronic goods to the specialist AV and CI (Custom Installation) channels. With over 600 clients our customers include Harrods, Selfridges, Sevenoaks, Richer Sounds, Hughes Electrical and the list goes on…

We are a small friendly team made up of industry experienced and service led professional people. A sample of the brands we manage include Edifier, Audio-Technica, Techlink, Sanus, Pure, CYP, TEAC and many more.

Job Description

Our ideal candidate will be energetic and trustworthy and able to fulfil a challenging position within a consumer electronics distribution company. You will have strong interpersonal skills, a can-do attitude, be organised with a good attention to detail and be able to communicate effectively.

Our Warehouse Assistant will be a key team member and will play an important role in the ongoing success of the company.

The role includes, but is not limited to:

· General tidiness and organisation of the warehouse.

· Processing and Picking Orders (manual system)

· Packing orders prior to shipping.

· Receiving deliveries and checking stock in.

· Monitoring stock levels including category stocktakes.

· Arranging return of faulty items to suppliers.

· Liaising with suppliers and customers.

The ideal candidate:

· Will have a strong work ethic and team spirit.

· Will be comfortable working in a busy, fast moving warehouse environment

· Will be able to remain in a standing position for up to 90% of the time.

· Will be able to move boxes weighing up to 50 pounds (23 kilos) across the warehouse

· Will be able to work in outdoor weather conditions as the work can take place in an open warehouse.

· Will have their own transport due to the location of our warehouse site

· Will be able to work on your own as well as part of a team.

Previous warehouse experience essential.
