FULL JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Purpose
The Ninehundred Communications Group is a successful communications company based in Doncaster, that have been trading for over 47 years are looking to recruit a Data Cleanser on a 3 month contract.
Responsibilities
· Work closely with a busy marketing team to maintain accurate and up-to-date data services.
· Cleanse and maintain existing data, updating contact details including telephone numbers and email addresses, job titles etc
· Regularly update and manage the CRM system to ensure data accuracy and integrity /
· Maintain and update filtered mailing spreadsheets to support targeted marketing campaigns.
· Confidently contact companies to verify and confirm current contact information.
· Support a fast-paced marketing team with data services, including cleansing and updating contact records.
· Maintain confidentiality and comply with data protection, GDPR
Skills & Competencies
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Confident in liaising with external companies to confirm that contacts are current and still in post
- Ability to work methodically with large datasets
- Clear written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Knowledge & Experience
- Experience in data cleansing, data entry, or data quality roles (desirable)
- Familiarity with databases, spreadsheets, and data management systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (e.g. formulas, filters, pivot tables) or similar tools
- Understanding of data protection principles (e.g. GDPR)
