Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated female Support Workers to provide high-quality care and assistance to individuals in various settings, including assisted living, nursing homes, and home care environments. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting clients with diverse needs, ensuring their safety, comfort, and wellbeing. Duties

● Assist clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility

● Provide specialised care for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer’s, or other cognitive impairments

● Support patients with medication administration following prescribed protocols

● Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements

● Engage in behaviour management strategies to promote positive interactions and routines

● Offer emotional support and companionship to enhance clients’ quality of life

● Assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment

● Drive clients to appointments or social activities as needed

● Administer first aid in emergency situations and ensure safety procedures are followed at all times

● Support families and caregivers by providing guidance and respite when necessary

Qualifications

● Experience in assisted living, nursing home care, or home care environments is highly desirable

● Knowledge of patient care techniques, including dementia, Alzheimer’s, hospice, and senior care

● Relevant qualifications such as caregiving certification or first aid training are advantageous

● Strong communication skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients and their families

● Ability to perform heavy lifting when required and assist with mobility needs

● Valid driving licence is preferred for transportation duties

● Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to improve the lives of others

● Flexibility to work shifts that may include evenings or weekends if necessary
