Overview
The role of the Field Care Supervisor – Complex Care is to lead by example and provide quality and a service which is safe in respect to health and safety and safeguarding the people who use our services.
Purpose of the Role
● To provide support the delivery of the highest quality care support services by carrying out a range of functions in the field, including the assessment and review of individual services and the practical supervision, instruction and support of care workers. To provide a consistent approach
● You will be reporting to the Registered Manager on a weekly basis and ensuring that the quality review systems are constantly being accessed and reviewed.
● You will be responsible for the leadership of the designated team of staff, by providing direct support and supervision to the staff team in accordance with Domiciliary care experts policies and procedures.
● You will be responsible for liaising with the professionals and providing support to the service users in Multidisciplinary meetings
● To work with the learning disability and positive behaviour support teams, to ensure the best interests of the person being supported.
● To respond effectively and proactively in a timely fashion, to varied challenges of the people we support.
● To ensure that all individual documentation is completed in line with quality assurance and policies and procedures.
● To build relationships with the people who use our services and professionals
● To promote an open and positive culture within the team, ensuring team meetings and staff training takes place with appropriate regularity.
● To ensure CQC compliance is met and to oversee the day-to-day operations of the complex care provision
● Report writing, preparing and implementation of assessments, care plan and risk assessment and reviewing in accordance with quality assurance standards
● Investigating incident forms and ensuring action is taken to support the service user in accordance with safeguarding policies and procedures.
● Reporting safeguarding concerns to the local authority and the Care Quality commission.
● Specific Requirement for Qualifications
● Vocational qualification Level 3 Health and Social Care
● Supervisory or management qualification
● Knowledge and experience of Children, neurodivergence, acquired brain injury and spinal injury
