About the Role
We are looking for a compassionate, reliable, and experienced Care Worker / Support Worker to join our growing team. You will be supporting adults and/or young people with autism, learning disabilities, and mental health needs, helping them achieve their goals and maintain independence.
Key Responsibilities
● Provide person-centred care and tailored support
● Support individuals with autism, learning disabilities, and mental health conditions
● Assist with personal care where required
● Promote independence and daily living skills
● Support with medication (following training and company procedures)
● Assist with community access, appointments, and social activities
● Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records
● Work collaboratively with families and healthcare professionals
Requirements
● Previous experience supporting individuals with autism, learning disabilities, and/or mental health
● Full UK driving licence
● Access to your own vehicle (essential)
● Strong communication and interpersonal skills
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team
● Compassionate, patient, and reliable
● Right to work in the UK
Desirable
● NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards it)
● Experience in supported living or domiciliary care
● Understanding of positive behaviour support
