Overview
We are seeking a proactive and personable Sales representative to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities
● Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs
● Provide detailed product information and advice to customers, ensuring a positive shopping experience
● Engage in upselling techniques to maximise sales opportunities
● Maintain visual merchandising standards to attract customer attention
● Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system
● Manage stock levels, organise stock displays, and replenish shelves as needed
● Handle customer enquiries via phone with professional phone etiquette
● Assist in organising promotional events and store layouts
● Support team members with daily operational tasks to ensure smooth store functioning
Skills
● Fluency in English; proficiency in Spanish or other languages is advantageous
● Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
● Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
● Basic maths skills for handling transactions and stock counts
● Effective time management to prioritise tasks during busy periods
● Demonstrated merchandising abilities to enhance product presentation
● Ability to upsell products tactfully and confidently
● Professional phone etiquette when dealing with customer enquiries or follow-ups
● Organisational skills to maintain an orderly retail environment
