Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated healthcare assistant to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality care and support to individuals in home care settings. The successful candidate will play a vital part in enhancing the well-being and independence of our clients, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times. Responsibilities

• Assisting clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
• Supporting the development and implementation of personalised care plans
• Providing companionship and emotional support to clients
• Assisting with medication administration as directed by healthcare professionals
• Maintaining accurate records of care provided and any changes in client condition
• Ensuring a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for clients
• Communicating effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care
• Driving to various locations as required for home care visits (where applicable)

Requirements

• Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
• A valid driving licence is desirable for roles involving travel between clients’ homes
• Good organisational skills to manage multiple clients and tasks efficiently
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
• Basic IT skills for maintaining electronic records and documentation
• Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support others’ well-being
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to adapt to different shifts and client needs
