 FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Domiciliary Care Workers to provide high-quality in-home support to clients across the community. The ideal candidate will assist individuals with daily living activities, ensuring their safety, comfort, and independence. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable adults and seniors, including those requiring specialised care such as Alzheimer’s, dementia, or hospice support. All positions are paid and require a genuine commitment to caring for others.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personalised care plans tailored to each client’s needs, including assistance with personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
• Support clients with medication administration in accordance with prescribed instructions.
• Assist with meal preparation, ensuring nutritional requirements are met and dietary restrictions are adhered to.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, cleaning, and organising living spaces.
• Support clients with assisted living activities, including mobility assistance and behaviour management strategies.
• Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required, maintaining safe driving practices.
• Monitor and report on clients’ health status and any changes in condition to relevant healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided in compliance with organisational policies.

Requirements

• Previous experience in assisted living, patient care, nursing home environments or home care is highly desirable.
• Values based ethos and desire to support people in their own homes in line with their care plan.
• Must have a full UK License and have access to a car
• Business Insurance is required on your vehicle
• Must have the right to work in the UK. Please not we do not offer sponsorship.
• Strong caregiving skills with a compassionate approach towards vulnerable individuals.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary and assist with mobility tasks safely.
• Excellent organisational skills for managing multiple clients’ needs effectively.
• Valid driving licence and clean driving record for transportation duties.
• Good communication skills and the ability to manage behavioural challenges professionally.
• Flexibility to work various shifts as required by client needs; a genuine passion for caregiving is essential.
