● Children’s Healthcare Assistant
● Location: Liverpool, L17
● Pay Rate: £16.00 – £19.00 per hour
● Shifts: Part Time| Days & Nights | Various Shift Times | Alternate Weekends Required

Meet Our Client
A sociable and active young girl who enjoys participating in her community and spending time with her family, friends, and care team. She has a strong enthusiasm for school and loves trips to the park, travelling on public transport, hydrotherapy sessions, and exploring new arts and crafts activities. She is non-verbal and communicates her needs through a range of sounds, so patience, attentiveness, and the ability to respond to her individual cues are essential for building trust and delivering high-quality care.
The role involves observations, managing clinical interventions throughout the day, and providing personal care and moving & handling support. You will also provide comfort and reassurance to maintain a calm, safe, and nurturing environment.
Proven experience working with children in a care setting is essential. Candidates must be able to clearly discuss their previous care experience, particularly with children

What You’ll Need
● Minimum of 3 months’ care experience
● Confidence with medication administration, personal care, and moving & handling
● Clear communication skills and ability to respond to individual needs
● Experience supporting children with complex care needs, including epilepsy and ventilation
● Full COVID-19 vaccination required
