This role may be eligible for visa sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa route. The post – Workforce Data Analyst
The University is seeking an enthusiastic and analytically minded Workforce Data Analyst to play a key role in shaping our strategic workforce planning. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys turning complex data into meaningful insights that directly influence decision‑making at an institutional level.
In this temporary but high‑impact role, you’ll take ownership of extracting, validating, and analysing workforce data to create accurate statistical reports and engaging dashboards for a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. You’ll be central to ensuring the quality and integrity of data used in statutory reporting, helping to strengthen the evidence base behind HR and Payroll strategies.
We’re looking for someone who brings curiosity, precision, and a collaborative mindset. You’ll use your technical expertise—particularly your experience with the iTrent payroll system—to maintain high data standards, identify trends, and highlight opportunities for improvement. You’ll also work closely with colleagues across HR, Payroll, and wider teams, contributing to a culture of shared learning and continuous improvement.
What you’ll bring:
● A degree or equivalent qualification or experience in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Computing, Economics, or similar)
● Experience working with large and complex datasets
● Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Qlik, Power BI, Tableau)
● Specialist experience demonstrating sustained development in a series of increasingly demanding work roles in a similar or related area of responsibility.
● Strong quantitative analysis skills and proven experience of ensuring data quality and accuracy
● A positive, solutions‑focused approach and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
