FULL JOB DESCRIPTION
Purpose:
The postholder will work on the project – ‘Home in Troubled Times: Exploring everyday life and conflict in Northern Ireland using digital archives’. They will oversee the effective day-to-day delivery of the project in consultation with the Project Lead, ensuring project deliverables are met, and contributing creatively to maximise the project potential.
Funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, the project builds on the resources and reputation of Ulster University’s Conflict Archive on the Internet (CAIN), to engage with a wider range of user groups, specifically young people and migrant communities in the north west. This will take place through creative workshops and other engagement events. The project will see the development of new multimedia resources and exhibitions, education resource packs, digitisation of archival documents, and a programme of capacity building in support of the CAIN website.
