Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Morley Manor Residential Home in Leeds. This role is vital in supporting our mission to deliver nutritious meals and maintain a clean, safe kitchen environment that enhances the wellbeing of our residents.
Responsibilities

● Assist in food preparation and meal service to ensure timely and nutritious offerings for residents.

● Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area.

● Support catering activities during special events or regular meal times.

● Follow food safety regulations to ensure a safe dining environment.

● Help with inventory management and stock rotation.

● Collaborate with kitchen staff to deliver excellent service.

● Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and stored.

● Contribute to a positive team environment focused on resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

● Experience in catering, cooking, or food preparation within a kitchen setting is desirable.

● Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.

● Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

● Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

● Good communication skills with team members.

● Previous experience in a healthcare or residential environment is advantageous.
