Job Overview:

You will provide home care support for people who still reside in their homes but require additional support in different areas of their daily lives. This includes household tasks and any other activity that allows them to maintain their independence and quality of life. Your main duties will be, but not limited to:

● Personal Care such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting

● General housework

● Meal preparation and assisted feeding when required

● Administer medication

● Provide emotional support and companionship to clients and actively engage them in activities to promote mental and physical stimulation.

● Hospital discharge support

● Assist clients with mobility issues, including transferring to and from beds, wheelchairs or mobility aids.

Essential Criteria:

● Able to communicate confidently and effectively

● Caring, compassionate and patient nature

● Ability to always stay punctual as you will be working to a strict timetable

● Able to adapt quickly in an ever-changing environment

● Self-motivated and able to work independently

Desirable Criteria:

● Clean and valid UK driving licence with own car will be desirable

● Ability to travel in and around Edinburgh, Mid-Lothian and East Renfrewshire

● Preferably Female candidates as per client requests

Full training is supplied

Education:

● GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Language:

● English (required)

Licence/Certification:

● Driving Licence (preferred)

Work authorisation:

● United Kingdom (required)
