FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

About the role

We are looking for reliable, outgoing, vibrant individuals to provide care, and support to a young adult lady with various elements of life in their own self-contained home. The successful candidate will be provided with training to provide the support including:

● Social Support- Assisting to engage with communities by planning and attending outings for leisure activities such as, shopping, eating out, day centres, bowling, cinema, swimming etc.

● Medical Support- Administering and monitoring medication.

● Personal Care- Assist maintaining wellbeing by promoting their personal care which would include showering, dressing, arranging visits with professionals such as dentists, doctors or opticians, assisting with incontinence care.

● Practical Support- undertaking daily household tasks such as general housework, laundry, ironing, cooking, shopping.

The role will primarily involve 24-hour shift patterns with a sleepover between 22:00 to 08:00, and will support our client when required during those hours.

What we’re looking for:

● Someone who is kind, caring, compassionate, professional and reliable

● Someone who can communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing

● Car drivers only

● 18+ Years Old

● Good level of English

● Available to work nights and weekends

Experience:

● home care work: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

● full UK driving licence
