Overview
Our family run Nursing Home which provides outstanding care to those with complex needs requires a dedicated and caring healthcare assistant to join our friendly team.

You need to have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be kind and patient and a team player and you must have a passion for care

Responsibilities

• Working under the guidance of a Registered Nurse to provide high quality person centred care
• To have an understanding of each individuals support plan and to deliver care which meets their needs
• To support individuals with personal care, nutrition, mobility, skin care, social and emotional support, medication and elimination needs
• To accurately and professionally document all aspects of care and support
• To work as a team to provide all aspects of care

Experience

Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is essential.

A good understanding of care plans and the ability to follow them accurately is beneficial.

Proficiency in English is required for effective communication with clients and team members.

Basic IT skills are advantageous for maintaining records and communicating with the team.
