Home Instead Norfolk is expanding its team and looking for caring, compassionate Live In Elderly Befriender Care Assistants to support their clients living at home with a range of needs throughout the Norfolk and Cambridge area.

We currently have Full Time live in care vacancies available with immediate starts. Who work on a two weeks on/off schedule. We’re looking for Care Professionals who may already have experience as a Support Worker, Home Care Assistant or in Domiciliary Care. We would also welcome those who have had experience caring for family members to apply.

Being a Live In Care Assistant means you need to be adaptable, personable but ultimately put others first. Your role may include:

• Companionship
• Personal care (washing, dressing, grooming and other toileting needs)
• Helping with mobility around the home, such as cleaning, vacuuming and changing bedding.
• Performing light housekeeping tasks
• Overseeing medication and providing medical support
• Preparing and cooking meals
• Assist client to eat and drink
• Running errands such as food shopping or picking up prescriptions
• Help with continence care
• Possibly to provide Dementia / Alzheimer care (depending on client)
• Assist with morning/wake up and or evening/tuck in

£500 welcome bonus will be split paid at £250 after 3 months employment and £250 after 6 months.

Care Assistants need a Valid UK Driving Licence (with access to a vehicle for work purposes). Care Assistants must have the Right to work in the UK.
