FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

Overview:

This role is for a Ofsted children’s residential home opening in Bolton. It is such an exciting time to join us as you can make your mark at this setting by building a team and making a difference in children’s lives .

We are seeking an experienced OFSTED Registered manager with 2 years of experience within the last 5 years to join us and our long term plans is to open more Children’s Homes and there is massive potential for progression and pay remuneration for the right candidate. PLUS A sign on bonus of £2000 will be paid once OFSTED registration is completed.

You will be responsible for the overall running of the homes and the well being of the children; this role requires someone with a Can Do attitude and excellent problem solving skills and most of all compassionate and calming nature.

To be considered for this role ,

  • proven experience of working with adults/and or children with varied degrees of learning disabilities, and /or physical and mental health complex needs
  • Level 5 diploma in Leadership and Management for residential care (Flexibility can be given for candidates who have a wealth of experience in the sector and are willing to start the course as soon as employment commences )
  • To ensure regulatory compliance are followed under the Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 and Ofsted Framework for Inspection
  • To manage and supervise a team of Children’s Support Workers
  • To ensure compliance with relevant legislation and organizational policies, whilst creating safe, positive, nurturing placements for children and young people
  • To provide a responsive service using appropriate methods of assessment and intervention within relevant statutory and company requirements.
