FULL JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for compassionate individuals who are driven to make a positive difference in the lives of young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and complex needs.We are actively hiring for both:
- Day-Time Support Workers (Includes attached sleep-in duties).
- Waking Night Support Workers.
Responsibilities
- Provide consistent, effective emotional and practical support to children and young people.
- Assist and accompany young people in the home and community settings.
- Accurately record all support provided, ensuring compliance with OFSTED and company standards.
- Implement, follow, and update individualised care plans.
- Work collaboratively with the staff team to maintain a safe, nurturing, and stable environment.
Children’s Residential Support Worker – Southport
Day Shift / Waking Night Options available
Salary: £26,250 (Basic)
Location: Southport (In-Person)
Expected OTE: Up to £30,000 (Including Sleep-Ins)Sleep-Ins: £50 per night (approx. 6 per month)

- Experience: No formal residential experience is required. Full training is provided from day one.
- Attitude: Resilience, empathy, and a proactive approach to challenging behaviours.
- Commitment: Willingness to work a structured, monthly shift pattern.
Shift Structure
- Day Shift Hours: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM – Note: Day shifts typically include attached Sleep-In shifts.
- Waking Night Hours: 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM
