MailPallet is a UK-based logistics and e-commerce solutions company simplifying global shopping and shipping. We help customers in Ghana and Nigeria to shop from UK stores easily and affordably through our virtual address and parcel forwarding services.
We are seeking a Software & IT Engineer to join our growing team — someone who can bridge software development and IT operations, ensuring both our digital platform and internal systems run efficiently and securely.
Key Responsibilities:
Software Engineering
- Develop, maintain, and scale the MailPallet web platform using Next.js and Supabase.
- Integrate and manage Stripe, Paystack, and RESEND for payments, communication, and automation workflows.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs for smooth data exchange across internal and third-party services.
- Develop modern, interactive features using JavaScript and Three.js to enhance user experience.
- Maintain high-quality code standards through testing, version control, and CI/CD best practices.
- Work collaboratively with product and operations teams to optimize system performance and reliability.
IT Operations & Systems Management:
- Manage company DNS records, domain settings, and email configurations.
- Oversee Microsoft 365 account management, including user provisioning, permissions, and device policies.
- Maintain and secure company devices, ensuring updates, compliance, and data protection.
- Provide IT support for team members and document key infrastructure processes.
- Monitor IT systems to ensure consistent uptime and scalability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s and or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven experience with Next.js, JavaScript, and Supabase.
- Solid understanding of API development and third-party integrations (Stripe, Paystack, RESEND).
- Competence in DNS management, network configuration, and Microsoft 365 administration.
- Experience with device and endpoint management.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, startup environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Vercel, or AWSdeployments.
- Understanding of data privacy, security best practices, and GDPR compliance.
- Familiarity with automation tools or scripting for IT tasks.
