Smartroom is one of London’s fastest-growing self-storage and logistics brands, offering flexible storage solutions with collection and delivery services. We are expanding our operations across London and are looking for a motivated and dynamic Sales Manager to join our team.
About the role:
We are seeking someone who is both commercially driven and hands-on. The Sales Manager will play a key role in growing our customer base, managing leads, and ensuring excellent customer experiences — while also occasionally assisting with operational tasks such as preparing storage units or handling light packages when needed.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a varied role that combines customer interaction, sales strategy, and practical involvement.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage and convert sales leads via phone, email, and in-person visits.
- Build strong customer relationships and deliver excellent service.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase occupancy rates.
- Coordinate bookings, pickups, and customer logistics with the operations team.
- Occasionally assist with light manual tasks such as moving or preparing boxes and ensuring units are customer-ready.
- Maintain accurate records of inquiries, conversions, and performance.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Confident using CRM systems, spreadsheets, and online tools.
- Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to get involved on the ground when needed.
